Health Authority
The Health Authority stream offers a permanent residence pathway to people working in select healthcare occupations for a health authority in B.C. Demonstrate that you have obtained support from your employer (must be a B.C. public health authority)
- An occupation identified by the NOC as a health occupation (any NOC that starts with a 3) , Social workers (NOC 41300) , Therapists in counselling and related specialized therapies (NOC 41301) , Social and community service workers (NOC 42201) , Physicians, nurse practitioners and midwives.
- Workers who are direct employees of a provincial health authority or who are physicians, nurse practitioners, or midwives with the support of a provincial health authority can submit an application directly to the Health Authority stream.

Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
The Entry Level and Semi-Skilled stream is a way for workers in select occupations in the tourism/hospitality or food processing sectors
- Your occupation must be on the list of eligible occupations for your sector. All ELSS-eligible occupations are classified as NOC TEER 4 or 5
- For the Northeast Development Region of B.C., you may apply if you are working in any NOC TEER category 4 or 5 occupation, other than live-in caregivers

Private Career College Graduate Pilot Program:
- The pilot is currently scheduled to close in autumn 2025. International graduates with the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy. The objective of the pilot program is to make available an immigration pathway to international graduates from select one-year and two-year programs of study that lead to careers in priority occupations in Education and Social Development, Health, IT and Cybersecurity, Business Administration, and in Supply Chain and Logistics. This pilot program is accessible to new graduates, from specific private career colleges in New Brunswick, that are not eligible for the federal Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) program.

New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream: 3 separate pathways:
- New Brunswick Experience : You have been working full time for the same employer for at least 6 consecutive months
- New Brunswick Graduates: Successfully completed a program of study that is eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) at a designated learning institution (DLI) located in New Brunswick. You are working a full time in a non-seasonal position for an eligible New Brunswick employer
- New Brunswick Priority Occupations: Job offer must be direct result of a recruitment mission led by the Government of New Brunswick. (NOC) for the position must be one of the priority NOC codes with 1 year of related experience.
